PADI assistant
instructors can help in the teaching
process more by actually teaching
in the pool and evalualating surface
skills in open water as long as an
instructor is able to supervise.
You can do the AI course as a standalone
course then at a later date do the
OWSI course or you can do the two
courses together as an IDC.
Doing the AI course seperate will
allow you time to practice your skills
as a working
AI and also mean that you can divide
the whole instructor process into
two segments.
If you already know that you want
to continue to Instructor (OWSI) Level
please speak to us.
We usually run this course over 4
days but if required we will give
you the time you need. The PADI Assistant
Instructor Course is the first part
of the PADI IDC and if you choose
to do the full IDC then this course
is included in that programme. Once
completed then you can also do the
DAN instructor courses and why not
also do the EFR instructor course
as well as the AI course. |
